Sound description: Old school honky-tonk, country and rockabilly with
some bluegrass thrown in for good measure.
Fed up with modern "country" crap, the Black Ale Sinners were formed
as Saddlerash in 2001 with a desire to play old school honky-tonk,
country and bluegrass the way it should be. Comprised of six hard
drinkin' small town and country boys, the Black Ale Sinners want you to
cry, laugh, drink, and fight right along with them Wednesday, May 11th
at Davey's. The Black Ale Sinners are based in Lawrence, KS. Their
influences include Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, Bill Monroe and Junior
Brown. Their CD "The Devil in my Drink" was self-released in 2005.
